Wild Orchid Bakery is a sweet Trinidad island-style bakery with custom island pastries , soups, gourmet donuts and custom cakes .
Due to unfortunate circumstances in January I had to shut down my store front in Manchester, NH . My search has been ongoing since February in looking for a new home . I have pushed forward looking for a turn key which is almost impossible .
With the help of people like you as well as , granite state apparel, hometown coffee roasters, realtor casey de stefano of century 21, loon chocolate , Ethos & Able Creative & Many other small businesses right here in New Hampshire I was able to fund my staff before they moved on to their new jobs and pay off a few fees that were due at the end of Feb/March. For this I am thankful.
I have been graced with meeting so many beautiful people right here in the city since closing the storefront and I am thankful for your kind words and words of motivation as I push through figuring the next steps on where Wild Orchid will establish itself.
I am forever grateful for all the kind words and donations !
Since the end of May I have been working alongside Mainvest.com which is an investment company out of Massachusetts. I am excited to launch my campaign to assist in reopening , hiring new staff, getting equipment and renovating and securing a new location.

I’ve had the distinct pleasure of being able to have Shelly at Wild Orchid Bakery come in HUGE on a “Tiger King” cake I needed, and envisioned for my brother’s 30th birthday, and when I say she nailed it, she absolutely NAILED it. Not only was it delicious, but the detail was absolutely amazing and truly was its own life of the party. It doesn’t stop there, she’s also provided me with fresh donuts that floored me and are currently the best kept secret in NH. Above all else, Shelly is so great and fun to work with, she puts it all into her craft, is well respected, and I can’t wait for my next order with her and Wild Orchid Bakery!
The name Wild Orchid Bakery comes from my wanting to unite my two homes, Trinidad & New Hampshire. What they both have in common are the beautiful terrains, mountains, and wildflowers that everyone can appreciate. I also do have a bit of a wild side, so I snuck that in as well! This is a new venture for me and I hope you join me along for the ride as I create baked-from-scratch recipes and unique island-style pastries. I make everything with a dash of passion, a teaspoon of spice, and a cup of art to every order.
