My name is Shelly-Anne Storer. I am a simple baker with a dream to open a bakery and sell custom cakes, donuts and island treats in my hometown of Manchester, NH.
Recently, we have had our hand forced into needing to find a new location (details in the link below) and would for you to take a moment to hear our story about simple local business up against some of the hardest times we've had to face as not only a business, but as people. Please consider donating to our cause so that we can find a safe location to have you join us in.
Wild Orchid Bakery is a sweet Trinidad island-style bakery that specializes in custom ordered cakes for any occasion.
In house we have island-style pastries, cupcakes both reg and gf options, gf scones, and vegan-friendly island soup served daily.
My name is Shelly-Anne and I am your baker and cake designer. I run a small business with one baker alongside me. I am known for my custom cakes and island-style pastries. I am originally from Trinidad & Tobago and I am excited to introduce island flavors to New Hampshire.
We are very happy to be part of a local community right here in Manchester, NH.
As a new and very small business, I thank you for stopping by.
The name Wild Orchid Bakery comes from my wanting to unite my two homes, Trinidad & New Hampshire. What they both have in common are the beautiful terrains, mountains, and wildflowers that everyone can appreciate. I also do have a bit of a wild side, so I snuck that in as well! This is a new venture for me and I hope you join me along for the ride as I create baked-from-scratch recipes and unique island-style pastries. I make everything with a dash of passion, a teaspoon of spice, and a cup of art to every order.
