Welcome to my about page. My name is Shelly-Anne Storer, and I am the founder of Wild Orchid Bakery.
I am a self-taught, 12-year baker, and cake decorator.
I am known for my unique cake figurines and classic style cakes with a modern twist.
I was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago. I started my career in the catering business back in 2009. I have catered for Ministers and local island celebrities, foundations, and small businesses over the years.
I studied Business and focused on Marketing and Public Relations and I also have a French Pastry Course under my belt.
I am also a Certified ServSafe Food Handler in NH.
I moved to the United States in late 2013. I recently worked as a Cake Decorator at a local bakery in Bedford, NH but unfortunately due to Covid-19, they are permanently closed.
I thought long and hard and decided to start my own small business. I am excited to tell you we have attained a storefront and are currently working on getting our kitchen and storefront up to par.
Wild Orchid Bakery is a sweet Trinidad island-style bakery with custom island pastries and an occasionally savory item or two.
We create delicious pastries, vegan and gluten-free desserts, custom cakes, and cupcakes for any occasion to celebrate yourself, your family, and/or friends.
